Mounting type A: From above (with hose)

The integration of a sensor in a tank from above can be quickly realized by means of the sensor hose.

The integration is carried out in the following three steps:

  1. Drilling an opening:
For mounting the sensor, an opening of approx. 27mm is required. Drill this hole into the top of the tank or tank cover.
  2. Inserting and screwing down the sensor:
Insert the sensor including the sensor hose into the tank and mount it with the sealing and mounting material supplied.
  3. Connect the connection cable and carry out a one-time calibration.
  • Only use the original accessories.
  • Use a hose length that reaches the tank bottom, but without "excess length". Show example picture
  • In case of long standing periods, please empty the tank beforehand.

Important notes:

  • With fresh water: If the sensor hose is installed in the immediate vicinity of the water pump, a pressure loss may occur during water withdrawal, so that the level may be displayed incorrectly during this period. It must therefore be ensured that the fresh water pump is mounted at a sufficient distance from the sensor hose. Normally a distance of approx. 20cm is sufficient.
  • Make sure that the outer housing of the sensor is protected against moisture. Only use the sensor indoors.
