Adjusting the length of the sensor tube

For an optimum measuring result and best possible long-term stability, we recommend to cut the sensor hose "SS-PIPE-UNI-75" to the appropriate length for your tank.

Note: In the
past it was necessary to order a suitable sensor hose length at the same time. The new sensor hose "SS-PIPE-UNI-75" can be individually adapted to the personal requirements. The "old" hoses can also be retrofitted with an end piece (in case of excess lengths) and thus "shortened" afterwards.

1.) Use a ruler and mark the hose (tank height minus 5cm).

In our illustrated example the tank height is 30cm, minus 5cm the remaining 25cm. So mark the hose after 25 cm.

Further examples:

Tank height 20cm: Marking after 15cm

Tank height 25cm: Marking after 20cm
tank height 30cm: Marking after 25cm

tank height 35cm: marking after 30cm

Tank height 40cm: Marking after 35cm

Tank height 45cm: mark after 40cm

Tank height 50cm: Marking after 45cm

and so on...

2.) Cut the hose at the marked point

3.) Attach the end piece by turning and pressing on until the hose is at the stop.

If the end of the hose is warmed up a little beforehand (e.g. in warm water), this will facilitate the assembly.

4.) The hose is now ready prepared and can be connected to the sensor
